HSV were looking at doing RHD conversions of the Camaro but with the demise of Holden and the couldn’t be fucked either way approach of GM to the RHD Corvette...this might be one of very few.

Do we get manuals? Given Australians don’t buy many manuals and either do Americans, and it probably complicates the conversion process a little, I can understand if they just wouldn’t bother.

I wouldn’t be agree but I’d understand.

They're definitely converting Silverado to RHD and they also have a contract with FCA to do the RAM RHD conversions for the Oz and Kiwi markets. I've heard recently they have plenty to do...no worries there.

yes, manuals were imported too

i found all that info from the rego on vicroads which gave me the VIN, then put that into Holden  EPC.

Ah, what’s Holden EPC? Is it like a parts finder thing that dealers use?

I am familiar with the Vicroads search, but I thought it was broken since I tried searching for MCLF1 last week to see if it was still around and it says “Unable to provide portal response”. Apparently that result only occurs for that rego though, strange.

I had the impression the new 10 speed auto was really good. Manual would be more fun (and engaging) though, even if less competitive on the track.
